To charge the phone, you have two options: Connect the adapter to the charging base (A), or connect the adapter directly to the phone (B):
To charge the device using the recommended method (A), connect the adapter cable to the back of the Charging Base and place the phone on the base. Then, plug the adapter into any outlet in your home.
Method B consists of connecting the adapter directly to the phone.
The charging connection is the standard USB-C connection, so you can use any other certified USB-C charger.
During charging, the bars in the battery icon on the screen move to indicate that charging is in progress. When fully charged, all the bars remain illuminated.
You can view the battery charge status in Settings>Phone>Battery>Battery percentage
Important charging notice
To fully charge the battery, it must be charged for approximately 2.5 hours.
For proper maintenance and to extend battery life, it is not recommended to leave the battery fully charged or very low for long periods of time; an intermediate charge level is preferable.
To prevent the battery from remaining fully charged for extended periods, you can enable “Charge limit” in Settings>Phone>Battery. Once this feature is enabled, charging will stop at 80%. However, keep in mind that enabling this feature will reduce the battery capacity by approximately 20%.
It is not recommended to leave the phone charging for long periods of time (vacations, etc.). It is also preferable to fully discharge the battery from time to time.
If the phone will not be used for a long time, remove the battery with an intermediate charge level.
If the battery has not been used for an extended period or is depleted, the phone screen may not work when you charge it again. Once the battery has been charging for a while, you can turn on the phone and use it.
Low battery warning
When the battery is nearly depleted, the battery indicator will be empty, the phone will emit a warning tone, and a message will appear on the screen. You must connect the power adapter to charge the battery.
If the phone runs out of battery power, it will turn off and you will not be able to make or receive calls.
