Messages

The Messages menu allows you to send and receive text messages (SMS).

From here you can:

  • "Write new" to send an SMS
    • When writing a message, if you want to enter the phone number manually instead of selecting it from the contacts, press the # key to change the text input method and navigate with the arrow keys until you find "123". Select this option to enter the number more easily.
When you move to the text field, change the text input method again by pressing the # key and navigating until you find the text input method.
  • "Received" to view the list of received SMS messages
  • "Sending" to view messages that are queued for sending
  • "Draft" to view messages that you have written but not sent
  • "Sent" to view sent messages
  • "Templates" to use or create a message template
  • "Broadcast messages" to view or configure messages from official local government broadcast lists
  • "Voicemail" to view or configure voicemail
