Getting Started
- Lift the battery cover using the tab located at the bottom of the phone.
- Remove the battery by lifting it from the notch located at the top of the battery compartment.
- Insert the SIM card.
The SIM card may be in MicroSIM or NanoSIM format, depending on the phone version.
Insert the SIM card in the indicated position (note the notch), sliding the card in with its contacts facing down.
In the case of a MicroSIM card, if your card is smaller (NanoSIM), you can use an adapter or request a card replacement from your mobile operator.
If applicable, insert the Micro SD memory card in the indicated position.
Insert the battery, aligning the contacts on the phone and the battery. Put the back cover in place.
It is recommended that you charge the battery before using the phone. To do so, connect a power adapter to the phone's USB-C connector located at the bottom of the phone. Do not force the connection if it is not immediate. The "Battery and Charging" section contains more detailed information.
Before turning on the phone, remove the two screen protectors from the main screen and rear screen:
Turning the Phone On/Off
Press and hold the power key for a few seconds to turn on the phone.
Enter the PIN shown on your SIM card. With a SIM card, the language, date, and time will normally be set automatically, and the message to enable or disable battery care will then be displayed.
Press and hold the same key to turn off the phone.
NOTE: The personal identification number (PIN) protects the SIM card from unauthorized use. The PIN unlock key (PUK) allows you to unlock a blocked PIN. The PIN and PUK are provided with the SIM card. For more information, contact your operator
