Settings

Phone

This option and the following ones are within the "Settings" menu.

Here you can configure the time, date, language, navigation key shortcuts, scheduled power on and off, Battery, Restore settings, and Factory reset.

"Factory reset" performs a full reset of the phone to factory settings, and "Restore settings" resets values but keeps the Contacts and indirect Memories. It will ask for the phone's security function password, which is 0000 by default.

Display

This allows you to set a screen animation when turning the phone on or off, set a custom wallpaper, define the menu style, the items that appear on the screen, contrast, screen and keypad backlight time, and the font size on the screen (Large or Medium).

The menu style can be List (figure on the left) or Grid (default, figure on the right):

Security

Configure and modify security and privacy settings and codes such as the SIM card PIN, PIN2, Phone lock, Change security password (default is 0000), Privacy, Keypad auto-lock, Screen lock with hang-up key, Fixed dialing numbers (FDN), Blacklist, and Whitelist.

The keypad auto-lock is enabled by default and prevents accidental key presses, for example, when carrying the phone in your pocket. To unlock it, press the left function key "Unlock" and then the "*" key.

Regarding the "Privacy" option, if enabled, it will block access to phone functions you define by requiring a password to enter them. The default password is 0000.

The Blacklist is a list of phone numbers you want to block, and the Whitelist is a list of allowed phone numbers to call you (all other numbers will be blocked).

Calls

Within this menu, Dual-SIM configures the operation mode with two SIM cards. As for other call functions (call forwarding, call waiting, restrictions, hide caller ID...), keep in mind that their availability depends on your carrier.

Connections

To modify mobile network connection settings. The "Network account" is the APN configuration of your carrier. Network selection is automatic by default; you can choose Manual to select the carrier. Network type allows forcing the network to 4G, 3G, or 2G. VoLTE is enabled by default for voice calls over the 4G network.

ICE

The ICE function, "In Case of Emergency," allows you to enter personal data that may be useful to emergency services in case of an accident, such as an emergency contact phone number, blood type, and other data.

Pressing and holding the 1 key accesses this information.

To enter ICE data, select "Edit" in this menu.

Smart Help

This option and the following ones are within the "Smart Help" menu. It allows access to Smart Help functions: Remote Configuration, Smart Ringtone, and Smart Notifications.

Within the "Smart Help" menu, you can access its three functions: Remote Configuration (Status, Allowed numbers), Smart Ringtone (On/Off), Smart Notifications (Low battery, Missed call, No activity, Assistant).
