To charge the phone, you have two options:
1.- Connect the USB cable and charger to the back of the Charging Base and place the phone on the base.
2.- Connect the USB cable and charger to the phone’s connector for battery charging.
Note: The charger is not included in the V2 version, as any standard USB charger can be used.
While charging, the phone’s battery indicator light will turn red, indicating that charging is in progress. When fully charged, this indicator changes to green. Also, during charging, if the screen is activated, the battery icon will indicate the charging status.
Important Notice About Charging
To fully charge the battery, it needs to be charged for about 2 hours.
For proper maintenance and to extend the battery’s life, it is not recommended to keep the battery at full charge or very low charge for long periods; it is better to keep it at a medium charge. It is recommended not to leave the phone charging for long periods of time (vacations, etc.). It is preferable that the battery is fully discharged from time to time.
The V2 version includes a charge limit function that makes battery maintenance easier. If activated, the battery will charge up to 80%, and will not resume charging until it reaches a certain level. This prevents the battery from staying at a very high charge for prolonged periods (for example, leaving it charging all night), significantly increasing the battery’s lifespan. This feature is set up at the initial startup and can be enabled or disabled from Settings>Phone>Battery.
If the phone will not be used for a long time, remove the battery with a medium charge.
If the battery has not been used for a long period or is depleted, it is likely that the phone’s screen will not work when you recharge it. Once the battery has been charging for a while, you can turn on the phone to use it.
Low Battery Warning
When the battery is about to run out, the battery indicator will be empty, the phone will emit a warning tone, and a message will appear on the screen. You should connect the power supply to charge the battery.
If the phone has no battery charge, it will turn off and you will not be able to make or receive calls.
