ICE (In Case of Emergency)

The   ICE (In Case of Emergency)   function allows access to important medical and contact data, even when the   phone is locked. This feature is designed so that anyone   —such as medical or emergency personnel— can look up the user's critical information   quickly and safely.

Accessing ICE

The ICE screen can be opened at any time with a long   press of the 1 key, even   if the phone is locked. The information is displayed in   read-only mode, so no one   can modify or delete it from this view.

⚠️     Keep in mind that this information will be visible without unlocking the phone, so it is important that you only enter the data you are willing to share publicly in an emergency.

What information is displayed

By pressing and holding the   1 key, you will access a screen   with the following data, as long as it has been previously set up:

  • Name
  • Last name
  • Date of birth
  • Language
  • Emergency contact
  • Blood type
  • Height
  • Weight

If a field is empty, it will not appear on the screen. And if no data has been   configured, the message will be displayed:
  "No ICE information available"

How to set up the ICE information

You can enter or modify this information at any time from the   menu: Settings -> ICE

Inside the ICE menu you will find the editable fields mentioned above.

Each field opens individually so you can easily enter or update the   information.

Technical behaviour and privacy

  •     The ICE screen     is not available if the phone is switched off.
  •     The information is saved locally on the device and is kept even     if the phone is restarted.
  •     It cannot be modified or deleted from the quick access view (key 1).

This feature has been designed so that you can receive safer and faster   care in critical situations. We recommend that you fill in the fields with the most   relevant information and keep it updated.
