Your SPC ZEUS 2 has a button dedicated to a function called SOS.
You can use this function in an emergency situation, just by pressing and holding the button for a few seconds, to call your pre-configured trusted contacts on speakerphone and send them a notification via app, with SPC Care, or by SMS, to let them know you need help.
To use this function, you must first activate it. Follow the steps detailed below:
How to activate and configure the SOS function:
When the SPC Easy Mode launcher is active, you should go to:
Shortcuts -> SOS
When the launcher is in Normal Mode, you should go to:
Settings -> SOS
You can also go to activate the function by pressing and holding the SOS button, which will redirect you to the function's configuration menu.
- Check that the SOS function is Enabled.
- Enable "Call emergency numbers"
- Set up the emergency numbers in "Emergency contacts".
- Write the help message that will be sent to the SOS numbers in “Edit emergency message”.
How to use the SOS function in an emergency situation:
During an emergency, press and hold the SOS key for a few seconds.
Your SPC ZEUS 2 will start calling the previously defined numbers in the order they were given in the list. If there is no answer, it will jump to the next number and cycle through until one of them answers.
Along with the call cycle, and when the option is enabled, the SOS message with mobile location information will be sent with each call.
