New message received
When you receive a new text message, the phone will emit a sound and display a notification on the screen. The icon will also be displayed on the screen.
To open the message:
1. Select "Read" if the notification appears on the screen, and then options and "View" or with the M key. Or go to the "Messages --> Inbox" menu. New messages are marked with a closed envelope icon.
2. Press M2 to open and read the message .
NOTE: The new message icon will remain on the screen as long as there are unread messages.
Message options:
When you open a message, you can:
- Reply: Respond to the sender with an SMS or MMS message.
- Delete: Delete the message.
- Forward: Forward the message to another contact.
- Call sender: Make a phone call to the sender.
- Move: Move the message to the Secure folder, the original inbox (if it was moved previously), the SIM, or the Phone.
- Add to contacts: To add the phone number that sent the SMS to a new or existing contact.
- Details: Shows who sent the SMS, at what time, and where it was stored.
Write and receive a message
Text input:
The text input mode is the character type used in messages, when entering contacts, etc. With the # key, you can access the options: sSp, ssp, sSP, Sp, sp, SP, Abc, abc, ABC, 123 and other writing languages. The icon at the top left indicates the mode being used.
