This watch is water-resistant, complying with the IPX8 classification of the IEC 60529 standard: a maximum depth of 1.5 meters for a maximum of 35 minutes and without movement. If any of these variables are modified (if there is movement of the watch underwater, high-impact water splashes, currents...), the watch's protective capacity against water could be altered. For this reason, the watch is not suitable for activities such as diving or swimming. In other surface water sports, such as rowing or sailing, for example, it is possible to use the watch; but it should be noted that in these situations, the variables of depth, time, and mobility are likely to be altered, so the use of the watch is not recommended under these circumstances. The salinity of the water is another variable that could alter the watch's protective capacity against water, so its use in saltwater is also not advised.

Additionally, it should be noted that the water resistance capacity is not permanent and decreases with time and device usage, so damages caused by liquids are not covered by the warranty.

Microphone and speaker 

The SPC DUO FIT has a microphone and a speaker. If water enters their compartment, the audio quality will be reduced until the water exits.
