SMART CLAN is an app available for both Android and iOS.
Follow these steps to install and set up the app on your phone.
- Download the SPC SMART CLAN App. You can scan the code shown in your quick guide or search “SPC SMART CLAN” in the corresponding Store.
- Install the app on your mobile device.
- After the splash screen, the login and registration screen will appear. On the registration screen, you'll be asked for your email and password to log in (if you're already registered) or to register a new email to create an account (new user).
- To create an account, select “Register your email”. Enter your email address and you'll receive an email with a temporary 4-digit code. Enter the code, and if it's correct, you'll be asked to create a password. Enter your password and your account will be created. You can then log in.
If you try to register an already registered email, you’ll see a “Repeated account registration” message.
If there’s an error entering the 4-digit code, or if the 15-minute time limit expires, tap the “Resend” button. A new 4-digit code will be sent to your email.
- To log in, enter your email and password and tap “Log in”.
- Next, a screen will appear explaining how to find the code associated with the watch's IMEI, which is needed to link it. When the watch's QR code is shown, tap “Found it”, and the camera will open to scan it. If the QR code is not detected, you can enter the 10-digit alphanumeric code manually.
- Once the QR code is scanned, a screen will ask for a username to assign a name to the mobile device using the SMART CLAN app (parent, guardian...).
- Next (only on the first linked device), a screen will appear asking to name the watch (child…).
- After completing these steps, the watch and the SPC SMART CLAN app will be connected.
If you try to link a watch already connected to another administrator, a notification will be sent to the first administrator to approve the new one. The linking will not be completed until this approval is received.
During app installation, permissions will be requested to access location, notifications, overlay on other apps, etc. It’s recommended to accept all permissions to fully use all features.
Go to the App Settings section to log out.
