The SPC COMFORT NUMBERS PRO includes an R key and a FLASH switch, which allow access to certain services offered by your telephone provider or PBX.
R Key
This key gives you access to various services provided by your telephone company or PBX, such as: “call forwarding,” “call waiting,” “voicemail,” etc. To use it, press the R (5) key followed by the corresponding code.
If you want to adjust the R timing, use the FLASH (11) switch. Select 100 ms for Spain and 300 ms for Portugal.
FLASH Switch
The FLASH switch (11) allows you to set the hold or “flash” timing that is sent when pressing the R key. This timing must be correctly configured depending on the country or type of network for the R key functions to work properly.
Recommended Settings:

100 ms → for Spanish networks

300 ms → for Portuguese networks
You can select the appropriate option by sliding the switch on the bottom of the phone.

The R key will only work if your telephone provider or system supports this type of command.
