Ringer volume adjustment:
Set the ringer 
(12) switch to one of the three positions for mute, low volume, or high volume, respectively.
Hands-free volume adjustment:
During a hands-free conversation, slide the switch 
(13) to set the desired volume.
Increase handset volume:
To significantly boost the handset volume, press the key 
(9). Press the key again (9) to return to normal volume. When you hang up, the volume resets.
