Calling

If you’re using two SIM cards, the phone will ask you to confirm which SIM card you want to use for calls before placing them.

During a call, you can make and receive additional calls to/from the same number, but you won’t be able to make or receive calls on the other SIM card. 

 

From the dial pad:

1. Dial the number you want to call.

2. Press “Delete” to remove any mistyped digits.

3. Press  and select the SIM card you want to use for the call. Then press .

4. When calling, if the number is saved in your contacts, the contact’s name will appear on the screen.

5. Press  to end the call.

 

 

Call a contact from your contacts list

1. Press “Contacts” on the home screen using the right function key. The screen will display your contacts list in alphabetical order.

2. Use the up/down keys to scroll through the list until you reach the desired contact.

3. Press the call key  to call the selected contact.

4. Press the end call key  to end the call.

 

Call from call history

1. While the phone is idle, press the  key to access the outgoing calls list. You can also access history from the main menu.

2. Use the navigation keys to scroll through the list, select an entry and press  to call.

 

Call using direct memory keys:

For speed dialing, the phone has three direct memory keys.

Direct memory keys are accessed via M1, M2 and M3. To configure them, go to Menu → Settings → Contacts → Direct Memories, enable the function and save numbers under “M1/M2/M3 Numbers.”

Press and hold a direct memory key (M1/M2/M3) for 3 seconds to place the call.

 

 

Call using speed dial keys:

For speed dial, the phone has nine speed dial keys.

Speed dial keys are activated by pressing and holding one of the digits from 1 to 9. To configure them, make sure a SIM card is installed and go to Menu → Settings → Contacts → Speed Dial and set the desired numbers. The digit 0 is reserved for the camera. You can also configure by pressing and holding the digit and following the phone’s instructions. 

To call using speed dial keys, simply press and hold the key where the desired number is saved and the call will be placed automatically.

 

 

Answer / reject a call

When you receive a call, the number or name will appear on the screen. Press the  key to answer, or the  key to reject the call.

 

Answer and end calls by opening/closing the flip cover

You can answer an incoming call by opening the phone’s flip cover and end it by closing the cover.

To enable or disable this feature, go to Menu → Calls → Open to Answer. Use OK to turn the function on or off, confirming with “OK.” Likewise, you can set closing the cover to end a call.

 

During a call

During the call, press “Speaker” to activate speakerphone mode.

During the call, press “Options” to access various options:

Call waiting
End call
Phonebook
Call history
Messages
Voice recorder
Mute


Missed call indicator

If you have one or more missed calls, the green indicator light will flash to notify you of the missed call. If there are no missed calls, the indicator will remain off.
